GrandShores has the responsibility of managing more than 70 community and condominium associations, 5,000 units, 100 employees, and 200 subcontractors. Steve H. Maynard graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Mr. Maynard worked for IBM before purchasing Time Controls, Inc., a labor management company in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mr. Maynard is also owner, Senior Vice President and COO of the third largest travel agency in Tennessee. Mr. Maynard has served on many civic Board of Directors including United Way, Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, Boy Scouts of America and the Dogwood Arts Festival. In addition, his appointments have included Technology Board of Authority by the Governor of Tennessee and the Government Efficiency Panel by the Knox County Executive.

Mr. Maynard and his family have owned in Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort since 1984 and presently have a home at 3005 Bay Villa Drive in Sandestin.

As President of GrandShores Management Group, Inc., Mr. Maynard provides overall direction and vision to the company’s management team.
