Stephen T. McCloskey, Association Manager



Steve McCloskey joined GrandShores in August 2005. Previously Steve worked over 30 years in a marketing capacity developing regional plans for such franchise concepts as McDonalds, Domino’s Pizza and Century 21.  This career required an understanding of problems, bringing forth the right resources and presenting to franchise owners a plan of attack.  To determine the effectiveness of the plan, results were quantified and qualified.  After September 11, 2002 traveling became tedious necessitating a career that required less time in airports.

All this occurred at the same time Steve and his wife purchased a condominium in Panama City Beach where he became active on the Board.  Serving as president, Steve discovered a lot of similarities between managing an Association and developing marketing plans for franchise co-ops. He retired from marketing in 2004 and in August acquired his CAM license. His first assignment as a property manager was for two Destin high rises on the Gulf.  Four weeks later, both properties were slammed by hurricane Ivan, requiring six months of intense devastation management.
